менеджер - это не профессия и не специальность даже, блин( менеджером в какой сфере?

Responsibilities:

Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive’s sales and activity performance.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Recruits, tests, and hires Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.

если вы после года работы продавцом готовы взять всю вышеупомянутую зону ответственности на себя, то, конечно, можете попытаться. но вообще менеджер = руководитель. из продавца руководителем просто так не становятся, для этого надо поработать ещё n лет. так что не думаю, что что-то получится.

я получаю образование по этой специальности заочно, мне нужна эта работа

Lurics, ну опыт работы и знания никто не отменял. вы сами как думаете - сможете вот так раз и стать руководителем? нести ответственность за проекты? за убытки, которые возникнут из-за вашей неопытности?
в хорошую фирму вас так не возьмут. в шарашкину контору - можно попробовать, но нужна ли вам такая строчка в CV - тоже надо понимать.

так это понятно, что я сразу руководителем не стану, надо двигаться по карьерной лестнице сначала, просто реально ли устроиться в такую фирму?

реально все. у меня подруга начинала менеджером по продажам с нуля.

Не знаю как в других городах, но у нас пруд пруди вакансий на менеджера по продажам и берут туда даже с другим образованием. Дело в том, что на такой должности зарплата зависит от объема продаж и зарплата неофициальная поэтому работодатель почти ничем не рискует приниамая вас на работу. Вообщем все зависит от того куда пойдете потому что эта должность в разных организациях даже трактуется по-разному и не везде является руководящей.

Lurics, реально, конечно. По-моему, это вообще самая распространенная вакансия в Нск. Ну, может, после консультанта в банке.
